I want to state for the record why I have decided to run for congress. I have observed the issues important to this nation, and the way Congress has approached solutions to these problems. It is apparent most Congressmen have no grasp on the United States Constitution, or the Bill of Rights contained therein. It is also apparent many Congressmen are out of touch with their constituents/voters.
I am neither a politician nor a great orator. I am not a Washington Insider. I’m a blue collar mom who is stepping up to make a difference for her country. I want to serve the 3rd district of Indiana to represent my district as prescribed in the Constitution. I feel our Constitutional document is near perfect, and if adhered to, can and will solve many of the ills we presently face with government. The founding fathers were very wise men, and crafted this document to ”chain down” the Federal Government from greedy, self serving men. Hence we see where many of our nation’s present ills are caused by the chronic, deliberate divergence from Constitutional Government, by our elected leaders.
There seems to be a mood in our nation this election cycle. It’s the mood of the voters who say those in power have been there far too long. That mood says those who are elected term after term have lost touch with the common man and woman, and are more concerned with serving a few elite, rather that protecting the rights of those voters who trusted them. In addition, there’s a mood among the voters the incumbent has not upheld his oath of office, as sworn before God. An oath to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States.
If elected, I intend to take that oath of office very seriously, and if legislation presented to me does not pass Constitutional muster, I am bound by my oath to vote no. Furthermore, I will not incur debt to run this campaign. This is my promise to you the voter of the 3rd District. I seek to bring honesty, transparency, and above all, accountability to the office I ask you to entrust to me. BannerFans.com Add this banner to your website.
